Man booted from Responsible Gambling conference for bizarre costume

A man was asked to leave a Responsible Gambling conference yesterday as his protest spooked some people.

The man walked in wearing part of a grim reaper costume. He was with Game Over VLTs, an organization that just launched their Silent Scream campaign to eliminate video lottery terminals, devices similar to slot machines.

The Nova Scotia Gaming Corporation is holding the two-day conference at the Halifax Marriot Harbourfront Hotel to explore the prevention of problem gambling.
